Mary claire stewart
Mary Claire is a seasoned photographer who specializes in capturing images that portray love, emotion, and beauty. For well over a decade, she has been documenting the most pivotal and fleeting moments in life — from romantic love and weddings, to birth and family portraiture, to creative pursuits and business endeavors in need of visual support. She also has substantial experience in small-scale film production and enjoys telling stories through moving images as well as stills. Additionally, she is a birth doula — a practice that has only deepened her attentiveness and presence to each person who steps in front of her camera.
She resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her two kitties and numerous house plants. She loves practicing yoga, rock climbing, painting, deep conversations, and spending time in nature.

BIRTH documentation + Doula support
In 2022, Mary Claire expanded her professional skillset to include birth doula support. Her natural inclinations towards presence, embodiment and spiritual transformation sparked her curiosity in the companioning role of a birth doula, which is a non-medical support role that provides education, hands-on comfort measures and emotional support throughout preparation and labor. Mary Claire has attended numerous births as both a doula and a birth photographer — a pairing which she finds effortlessly complimentary.
